Parcoursup 2027 dates: what we know and what to wait for

If you are looking for the Parcoursup 2027 dates, the honest answer is this: at the time of writing (October 2026), the official calendar for the 2027 session has not been published. Several websites already show "2027 dates", but they reuse the days and months of the previous session: those are projections, not announcements.

The official benchmark: the 2026 session

Here is the calendar published by the French government for the 2026 session. The 2027 session usually follows the same architecture.

Step	Date (2026 session)
Programme map opens	17 December 2025
Registration and choices open	19 January 2026
Deadline to enter choices	12 March 2026
Last day to complete the file and confirm choices	1 April 2026
Main admission phase starts (first answers)	2 June 2026
Complementary phase starts	11 June 2026

What to expect for 2027

If the pattern is repeated, expect: the programme map in December 2026, registration in January 2027, choices closing in March, confirmation in early April and first answers in early June. These are expectations, not guaranteed dates. The exact day may move by a few days.

How to check at the right time

• The official calendar is published on parcoursup.gouv.fr; it is usually communicated in autumn or early winter.
• The government also relays it on info.gouv.fr.
• Be wary of pages announcing precise dates before the official publication.

What you can do right now

1. List the programmes you are interested in and read their expectations.
2. Note the open days of the winter.
3. Start gathering your material (placements, activities, commitments) for your project statement.
4. If you consider a plan B abroad, look now at the application calendar (in French) of those universities: several deadlines fall before Parcoursup answers.
